We seek innovative partners, and accept applications from potential grantees by invitation only. We prioritize organizations and initiatives that focus on vulnerable children, transition age youth, and families in LA County, and work to foster long-term, deeply supportive relationships with our collaborators.
On occasion, we will accept submissions from organizations with unique and compelling proposals. Please see below for more information, and a link to the Grantee Application Portal.
Specialty Family Foundation (SFF) believes in protecting the rights and dignity of all persons. We are committed to preventing abuse and promoting the safety, protection, well-being and development of children and vulnerable adults. Starting January 2023, SFF will require grantees to have a Safeguarding Policy in place to be eligible for funding.
For information and resources on how to develop and implement a Safeguarding Policy within your organization please visit FADICA’s Safeguarding website and/or reach out to your primary SFF contact.
Specialty Family Foundation has recognized that systemic racism is in and of itself one of poverty’s greatest enabling conditions. To maximize our impact and avoid contributing to the effects of system racism, SFF is layering an expert and informed DEI perspective to our work and our culture.
Current grantees and partners can access the grantee portal here to submit applications and reporting requirements, as well as update contact and organization information.
The investments we’re making into innovation, systematic change, capacitybuilding, and individual lives are generating a measurable impact. More than a vision, we’re seeing real progress in the organizations we support and the communities we serve.
